Ho Yoku Frit Trace Elements

As with MicroTotal, the Ho Yoku Frit Trace Elements granular concentrate is a support product that provides important natural compounds needed for your bonsai and plants.  While required much less frequently than fertilizer or MicroTotal, these supplements are no less essential for the health of plants.  Many of the 28 different trace elements in each grain of this product are present for trees and plants in nature, but when an outdoor garden is populated with many different organisms relying on the same resources without renewal, these trace elements will deplete.  With organic soil in a potted succulent or other containerized plant, this process of depletion is sped up.  In aggregate bonsai soil, these trace elements are almost nonexistent and must be entirely supplemented with Ho Yoku’s Frit Trace Element concentrate.  When substrates are properly re-mineralized, the revitalized microbes in the soil that are beneficial to root systems also rejuvenate.  The Ho Yoku Frit Trace Elements granular concentrate is not a replacement for fertilizer or MicroTotal, but rather completes the trifecta of support and nourishment along with the two other products.

Directions:

There is no risk of overusing Ho Yoku Frit Trace Elements, but it is only required for bonsai and plant health annually – or with any fresh repots of aggregate bonsai soil.  Ho Yoku’s Frit Trace Elements can be sprinkled over the top of the soil in established bonsai and potted plants.  Alternatively, this product can also be mixed directly into bonsai substrate before repotting.  For best results, each year sprinkle one tablespoon of Ho Yoku Frit Trace Elements over the soil of a six-inch pot.  Larger or smaller containers should be scaled appropriately to this ratio.  When mixed with bonsai substrate, one 2oz jar of this product is enough to enrich five gallons of aggregate.  If less bonsai substrate is needed, use one tablespoon of grain for every two quarts of soil.
